I was the ELD itinerant which means I had groups of English language learners in a pull-out program for 2 hours each day to improve their English language skills. The students ranged from kindergarten to 6th grade and their proficiency levels ranged from basic to intermediate, according to their previous AZELLA scores. Of the 23 students, 19 improved their scores and could stay in the regular classroom for the next school year.
