Work to DSAT guidelines and have completed TNA's including all the supporting documentation. That is what I have to do. What I love to do is to create really excellent training material that makes a difference. I use PowerPoint to an advanced level, using templates and customisation that make my work neater and faster than most other users. I talk to the SME's and understand the requirement before writing Operational Performance Statements; this approach saves money, saves time and provides courses which really benefit the users.I am very lucky to Love my Job, I am also lucky that project managers cry out for me to be working on their projects. This may be the fact that I keep detailed records of estimated costs and actual costs for work I bid for which means my estimates are pretty spot on. It may also be that the end customer really likes my method of delivery and often requests that I am the lead trainer on new projects.I have been an instructor since the age of 17 first a Trampolining instructor then a SCUBA diving instructor and now a Technology Instructor. I learnt from the very beginning the trick to successful instruction is bite size chunks and breaking elements down into steps. Simple but true, it works well every time.
