Assistant Director For Recruitment Events 2014-2021
Develop and implement comprehensive recruitment events for the direct-from-high-school population. Currently this includes 39 events both on and off campus.Work closely with our Marketing Department Strategist to develop event and admission related materials in conjunction with members of the admission team to promote recruitment events through web page development, social media, text, email, mail and phone outreach.Coordinated Scholarship Day, which had an attendance of 876 students and approximately 2,500 total guests and has resulted in overall 70% and higher yield in student enrollment in past years.Supervise the recruitment of prospective students to the UT Marching Band. Supervise Rocket Marching Band Graduate Assistant and work to develop and implement recruitment strategies to increase enrollment within this area. Efforts have resulted in approximately 100 more students interested at the same time last year causing the program to move to an audition requirement for membership, a step in the direction of developing a reputation of prestige with the program.Project costs for all recruitment events and manage the funds budgeted. Supervisor Bowling Green State University College Student Personnel Interns -- Mentored and supervised graduate student interns, who were hired and trained to be professional academic advisors for a period of two years while pursing degrees in College Student Personnel. On-Site Manager/Facilitator of Four-Year Transfer Advisor Representatives – Advisor Representatives were employed by their home institutions, maintaining off-site offices in the Owens Community College Advising Center.
