Physician Coordinator Prompt accurate retrieval of requests for radiology reports for internal and external offices in South Carolina. Provides daily monitoring of radiology reports for physicians.  Coordinates the flow of calls and requests for studies provided by or sent to the physicians on staff. Remindes doctors on staff of meetings/schedules. Respondes promptly to broken studies in the system to ensure all previous exams and patient information is available for the physicians. Correctes studies sent through the system as corrupted files. Followed-up with all calls and requests to ensure satisfaction of the requested information. Ensures pathology results are provided to physicians.  Imports discs sent from other offices into company PACS Management system and matches the studies to existing studies for easy retrieval. Maintaines effective relationships with internal/external entities by following-up and providing excellent customer service and ensuring all requests were timely. Responsible for sorting daily mail and distributing to doctors on staff. Administer various projects and assists management in the overall functioning of the business area. May involve, but are not limited to, system enhancement and analysis of operating procedures. Makes recommendations for change/development, both technically and operationally. Assist in the creation and implementation of work improvements and action plans for the department related to critical business processes and/or customer service related requirements.

I assisted with the handling in all aspects and stages of patient flow, such as reception, triage, routing, preparation and administration. I also managed waiting rooms and treatment rooms; synchronizes with back-office workflow and I kept patients and family members informed during long procedures. I also assisted the Radiologist with hanging of the patient's mammograms. I ran the dexa scan foot machine at the local fund raiser events.
