Oversee and manage operational staff and volunteers with the day to day running of the club.Overall responsibility and management of all aspects of events, including fundraising, 1st Team match days (300-400 attendees), Youth and Mini Festival (4,000 attendees), our annual Awards Dinner (200 attendees) as well as all social events.Liaison and relationship management with all stakeholders from an Operational perspective throughout the season.Recruit and develop volunteers with specific skill sets which serve the club and the volunteer most effectively.Achievements• Developed a new online membership process which helped the club increase membership revenues and numbers from 400 to 1,000 in 2018. Managed Memory Making and R&R Retreats for on average 250 young carers over 15-20 events per year. This included planning, communications, and attendance where necessary. Recruited and managed, initially a small team of volunteers, with the intent to develop volunteers based on skill sets and interests, which serve the charity and the volunteer most effectively.Managed all social media channels including Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram-ensuring the charity was on brand and was perceived positively by our supporters and the wider community.Achievements• Most recently and perhaps my most personal rewarding achievement, in 2019 I successfully trekked to Everest Base Camp to raise funds for MYTime Young Carers. • Managed a highly successful inaugural Young Carers Awareness Day with 100 young carers attending from local schools. This led to new relationships with schools and fantastic media coverage. The combined result of this allowed the charity to develop positive partnerships with schools and create a School Support Programme, as well as Young Carers Employability Project.• Developed a rebrand of the charity’s logo and social media presence

After qualifying in 2010, I decided to leave my full-time role at LA INC. and work part time while spending valuable time with my young son before he started school. During this period, I embarked on my own nutritional therapy practice. I stopped practicing in 2014.

Managed all aspects of projects, events, and promotions, including communication with trade partners, full administration, planning and attendance. Managed database updates; created newsletters and promotion creative design. Regular communication with airlines and tour operators to support their requirements for promoting LAX airport and Los Angeles as a destination.Conducted regular small and large group training presentations.Achievements• Successfully co-launched the first overseas office in the UK. As a small team of 3 and with our dedicated office, we increased brand awareness and portfolio of visitors to Los Angeles, which led to the visitor numbers increasing from 23.6m to 24.7m in 2000.
