The Caring Cradle is a unit that I designed and produce for hospitals to have in the Labor and Delivery department. The purpose of a Caring Cradle is to provide more time to families to say goodbye to their baby who is stillborn. The unit is a cooling unit and is used in the room. Cooling the body of a newborn slows down changes that would otherwise be upsetting to families. The Caring Cradle allows nurses to provide additional comfort and compassion to families, immediately following infant demise.

Preparation of complete Financial Statements monthly and work with Auditor for year-end closeout for business with multiple companies (Interstate Chemical – Southeastern Chemical – Ultra Look). Assumed responsibility of financials that were six months behind and caught them up, while establishing processes to assure timely closes in the future. Conducted monthly reviews with owners. Stabilized accounts payable status to current, maximizing discounts. Established vendor tax and insurance requirements. Reestablished compliance with pollutant tax status and began collecting refunds on taxes allowed. Payroll back up. Established and orchestrated complete document retention policy.

Financial Statement preparation. Developed process for timely recording of assets to allow for actual depreciation to be booked in accurate month. AR processes developed for better collection. Back up for payroll processing.
