I am a positive person and see the best in people and the things around me. I have a very open mind and a non-judgmental approach to life. I appreciate humour, I see the joy in laughter and good conversation. I specialise in working with trauma and sexual abuse and domestic violence and have worked with many clients with these experiences. I also have a special interest in relationships as well as mental health conditions. In the past I have worked with clients who have brought things to therapy such as: addiction, disordered eating, depression, anger, anxiety, health anxiety, PTSD, sexual issues, kink, fertility, pregnancy related issues, self-harm, sexual abuse, domestic violence, social anxiety, health anxiety, academic concerns, divorce, OCD, feelings of sadness, loneliness, abandonment and attachment issues, sexual divergence, identity, suicidal feelings and more. I specialise in sexual abuse, domestic violence, and anxiety.I offer individual and couples counselling online via zoom. I work in a mainly humanistic perspective but I draw on other methodologies and theories to tailor the therapy to best support the individual client. I am a member of the BACP and follow their ethical guidelines. I keep up to date with training and value supervision highly. I believe that the relationship is central to the counselling process and I aim to provide a safe, non-judgmental space to walk along side my clients for the part of the journey they choose to share with me. I strive to be honest and empathic and provide an open and trusting space through which clients can explore and achieve clarity, acceptance and make changes for the better in their lives.
