Providing guidance and support in all functional areas of responsibility to include, but not limited to, talent management, employee relations, performance evaluations, health insurance, training, payroll and accurate record keeping.• Responsible for the Human Resources operations. Work with department leaders to ensure that the Policies and procedures are understood and followed by all employees.• Oversees and has a hands-on role in the day-to-day administration of all human resource activities.• Responsible for the talent management of all staff to include, actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads, and managing the hiring process and on-boarding.• Provide professional advice to management in Human Resources best practices, including appropriate resolution of employee relations issues, ensuring that the company’s and the employees’ interests are protected. Review, evaluate and manage progressive discipline, suspensions, and terminations.• Establishes and maintains all employee personnel records, inclusive of I-9 forms, medical files, and HR documents. • Oversees benefits program including open enrollment process, serve as a liaison between employees and insurance carriers, obtaining and evaluating benefit contract bids, awarding benefit contracts, and designing and conducting educational programs on benefit programs.• Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting HR functions• Performs periodic audits of HR systems and files.

• Work with the Director of Events to think creatively and plan engaging events & communication programs that maximize employee participation across Properties• Determine the most appropriate mix of internal social platforms to promote and present corporate & property specific programs, services, and activities• Present weekly to senior HR leaders and review plans for upcoming engagement and communication activities• Develop project plans to execute projects and maintain files for initiatives• Build/maintain relationships with external vendors for quality, cost effective services; conduct research for new venues, gifts and event themes on an ongoing basis• Responsible for events & programs such as employee recognition & appreciation, property and company venue openings holiday festivals, various charity drives, sport tournaments, auctions and more

Plans and executes employee events and programs for approximately 4,500 employees. Focus areas include: employee recognition and appreciation, volunteerism, diversity, sustainability, oversight of the Wellness Coaches USA program on campus, employee offers and sales, benefits education and promotion, Employee Emergency Grant Program among others.Manage events such as: Employee of the Month, Supervisor in the Spotlight, Lost & Found Sales, Blood Drives, Employee Dining Room Events, Canned Food Drive, Sporting, Wellness Week, Golf Tournament, and others.Manage proposals, budgets, timelines, and creative design to ensure programs are executed in an effective manner while handling multiple priorities, maintaining attention to detail and meeting established deadlines.Partner with corporate departments to advance key initiatives at the property level by planning and executing new and innovative employee programs that support the Company's strategic priorities.Processes and verifies Event Summary Reports for major events.Implement MGM Resorts International's CSR Programs, such as: VolunteerMatch, Diversity, Green Advantage and Philanthropic initiatives through employee events.Assists as photographer for executives/key leaders/employees head shots, employee events and internal communications.Key person for Promotion & Welcome Announcements which include: taking head shots and laying out biography content.Assist Employee Concierge with window functions including the Workday Kiosk Area, employee accounts, bus passes, movie tickets, name badges, photo ID cards, Payroll support including, but not limited to: printing checks, research payroll issues and separation clearances, etc.Manage and write stories for "My Mirage"​/Team Updates(daily newsletter), and Special Edition magazine by using Indesign Program.Assist in implementing "Tiger Tracks" videos, one of our several employee engagement programs that engages, inspires and entertains employees.
