Wendy is a survivor of sexual abuse giving back to the survivor community by helping them overcome their past, stop the abuse from continuing, and tap into their potential. Wendy is the author of HEAL - A 14-session curriculum educational empowerment book for men and women survivors. At the age of 23 Wendy started on a healing journey to overcome the sexual abuse, physical abuse, emotional and psychological abuse, and neglect. Wendy found courage and inspiration from her new-found faith and future family. She never wanted any of her children to experience the life she did. But, as she embarked on her healing journey many obstacles were in her way and she found healing was a maze of confusion. Shamed, blamed, and ostracized by the very parents who abused her and rejected by other family members, Wendy and her newly wed husband embarked on a path to stop the abuse in their family lines. Wendy has run virtual supports groups for years for both men and women survivors. In 2020 Wendy and her daughter Lauren created the website www.healfromsexualabuse.com. Wendy wanted a platform where survivors could go to heal. Providing the most up-to-date, information for survivors to heal Wendy created a 'digital world of healing' for survivors to access new life skills to overcome their past. Wendy is Founder and CEO of HEAL Innovations.
