Wendy Makkena is an accomplished actress, musician and entrepreneur with a diverse background in film, television and theatre dance and music. Wendy is also the founder of a successful food start up,. She teaches spiritually in acting teacher, private coach and inspirational speaker. A classically trained Juilliard harpist, she's performed at Carnegie Hall, plays R&B guitar, danced with Balanchine's New York City Ballet, and is founder of Ruby Rockets fruit and Veggie Pops. Ms. Makkena recently appeared in It’s a Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood” starring Tom Hanks, Matthew Reis, Susan Kalechi Brown and directed by Marielle Heller. Harold Pinter selected her to appear in the American premiere of "Mountain Language", and performed in "The Birthday Party". She's worked with Beth Henley at New York Stage & Film and Julie Taymor in "The Taming of the Shrew".
