Wendy has been involved with the Pennsylvanians for Human Life for 4 years as an active member. She also was vice chairwoman for 1 year. She is now president of the organization and has been since September 19, 2020. Wendy has been working on several projects such as informational pamphlets and booklets about pro-life. She also helped construct the new issue of the organization's newsletter for Winter 2021. Wendy McDonnell was the past chapter president for the Lackawanna Blind Association. She has also taught computer classes for the blind and visually impaired there as well. Wendy was a social chair person for the Monroe County Association for the Blind. Wendy was also a bilingual translator for the Visiting Nurse Service of New York for children with chronic illnesses.
