As the Regional Services Coordinator for Northwestern Oregon, my role is to work from within the region (rather than from the state capitol) to enhance the division’s local presence and establish an ongoing dialogue with both construction industry stakeholders and local government officials. I provide a single point of contact into the division; so that rather than needing to know just “who to call”, for assistance, developers, contractors, elected and appointed officials can contact me for direction and/or resolution regardless of the issue.In addition to maintaining local relationships, we focus on several areas in the Regional Program, including:> Provide outreach and educational opportunities for a wide variety of stakeholders, including developers, contractors, building owners, building officials and building inspectors.> Facilitate the consistent application of the statewide building codes and provide dispute resolution when necessary.> Active participation in the Governor’s Regional Solutions Teams, partnering with a cross-section of state agency representatives to address local issues and streamline government processes. > > > Ensure stakeholder involvement in developing policy and implementing cyclical building code revisions.

Maintain fiscal and policy oversight of an independent public elementary school and 503(c) non-profit corporation with a nearly $1million annual budget. Chair monthly board meetings in accordance with public meeting laws and regulations. Facilitate executive vision and planning sessions, complete with tactical implementation strategies. Start up and guide development programs to cover projected capital and operating expenses. Increase visibility of the organization by developing partnerships with the broader community, including community leaders and local businesses. Recruit board members for replacement or expansion in concert with goals of the school

Overall management of all aspects of multiple programs targeted to external engineering customers; collaborating with stakeholders from all participating business groups and eternal service providers to ensure timely delivery of program content. Participated actively across sales, marketing, product development and sr mgmt teams to develop coordinated marketing plans to ensure ongoing program success. Maintained productive relationships with external partners and ensured successful delivery of train-the-trainer programs to these partners. Regularly participated and presented regional sales meetings and on sales calls. Established and maintained data tracking programs regarding customer participation and success rates. Created and delivered many presentations to Sr mgmt teams regarding program findings, customer trends and recommendations for future program upgrades and modifications.
