Since joining Preston Automotive Group (PAG) in 1984 as a receptionist at the original Preston Ford building in downtown Preston, Melvin has risen through the ranks, serving as an office clerk, office manager, and Executive Assistant to founder David Wilson Sr. before taking over as President of DHW Holdings in 2022. Melvin operates out of the DHW Holdings offices in Easton, Maryland, and manages accounting duties for Wilson Sr.’s vast commercial real estate portfolio.Her role has evolved from handwriting automotive contracts in the early days to planning corporate events and spearheading grand openings. She now manages accounts receivables and payables for more than 100 DHW Holdings commercial properties across the Delmarva region. Melvin is also at the forefront of acquisitions for PAG, interacting with the sellers through the entire acquisition process. As a primary point of contact for PAG and DHW Holdings, Melvin also manages company relationships with banks, insurance companies, and automotive manufacturers.
