In early 2015 I joined the newly developed digital team at FleishmanHillard South Africa, becoming the client liason to top performing clients, both locally and internationally. Daily responsibilities include ensuring all accounts are run smoothly with monthly KPAs being met, overseeing and crafting digital strategies, overseeing paid media strategies and targets, forecasting profit and loss, capacity planning, account and people management, new business, and billing & administration. I joined the Retroviral team as the second employee, taking on the responsibility of content creation, digital strategy, client services, influencer relations, creative conceptualisation, and online monitoring and reporting. As the Retroviral team grew to 14, I headed up the content division, specialising in digital strategy and content creation, along with campaign management and influencer relations. After a six month internship at World Wide Creative, I continued on to head up the Heavy Chef project - a platform that interviews top thought leaders in the digital community worldwide, as well as hosting monthly events with talks by digital experts. My role included all event organisation tasks, documenting the talks, live tweeting at conferences, reviews, and interviews for the website.
