Responsible for Sales & Operations Planning process, Planning, Stockroom, Shipping & Receiving Inspection.The Burbank location of Accudyne Industries under the brands of Haskel & Butech designs and manufactures a complete line of liquid pumps, air amplifiers, and gas boosters for general industrial and processing applications as well as demanding oil & natural gas applications and alternative energy conversion.

- Closed facility and migrated 8 value streams to 3 locations in N. America, China and India- Led project to implement JDA for Demand Planning as part of S&OP process- Created tools to improve daily management of backlog to improve order promise accuracy, improve visibility to execute shipping commitments and bridge backlog & forecast to budget billing targets.- Drove S&OP process to improve OTD to Request and inventory turns while reducing market lead times on 2 product lines by up to 50%- Reduced Past Due Backlog by 40% while increasing OTD by 12 percentage points- Reduced Inventory by 25% and increased Inventory Turns from 4.6 to 6.2- Led kaizen to implement milk-run process reducing production replenishment times from 24 hours to 8 hours- Led 3 physical inventories with accuracy at 98.4%

- Responsible for implementing a Sales & Operations Planning process for the Consolidated product line, primarily focused on the plant in Alexandria, LA.- Implemented Demand Planning process to capture input from the Sales Force and understand the demand mix by product line- Implemented tools for materials and production to execute the monthly plan.

- Responsible for Customer Service, Warehouse, Purchasing and Planning. Primary customer base was transportation: automotive and construction equipment.- Implemented backflush and pull process for final assembly lines remaining in Moorpark.- Implementing Shipment OTD and Supplier OTD management process. Shipment OTD up from <50% to 96%.

- Developed and implemented new supplier OTD scorecard to drive to root cause analysis of performance. Cited as corporate-wide best practice.- Part of management team that reduced past due backlog from $6 million to $700,000- Implemented kanban for top 80% of assembly level components

- Created system to manage warehouse backlog including inventory levels, on-time delivery measured to customer want date and product availability. Prior focus had been on plant manufacturing only.- Led planning transition of high volume skus from domestic production to off-shore suppliers. Key activities included inventory & backlog management, identification of stocking locations and definition of system triggers.- Part of team that drove inventory reduction from over $20 million to $16 million while improving on-time delivery to customer want date by 12 points. - Sanford lead for process improvement project shifting movement bias away from the Warehouse. Direct movements to Shipping increased by approximately 70%, avoiding multiple picks & put-aways in the warehouse.- Member of cross-plant process improvement team that reduced Warehousing costs by 20%.- Responsible for capacity, inventory & service reports as well as process improvement projects.- Led implementation of wireless computers in warehouse. Projected payback period less than 1 year.- Led efforts by the Materials Group to reduce inventory from $17 million to $13 million in 12 month period.
