Support Service Manager
CurrentResponsibilitiesI have a long career with housing vulnerable people I have managed two services and teams since 1997. Iactively manage and develop the performance of my team, provide necessary induction programs and othertraining, support and guide as appropriate to ensure the team are high performing, effective and cohesive.I have strong relationships with supporting people teams and local authorities. I have experience in setting upnew services, decanting properties and services and been involved with new build contractors.I am able to manage a budget and forecast budgets work with local authorities and have built up good workingrelationships.I my current post I manage waiting lists, rents, ASB, all vulnerable client groups enabling them to becomeindependent avoid evictions and repeated homelessness.I have experience of Key performance indicators, Supporting people contracts, validation, self assessmentand PI workbooks. I am computer literate Word, Excel, Power point, QLX rents system, Agresso ordering andbudgeting system and Taggish ASB system.AccomplishmentsOriginal service was a hostel this was demolished and replaced by a purpose build property.I have implemented many changes in line with support people. I have started a successful interim floating support service while the new property was being built so funding was maintained. Issued 29 tenancies in 2 days, the new build was full and had a waiting list. Introduced tenancy training accredited AQA, organised money life line to have a surgery on site, for debt management.
