Accounting and Art?? Yes!!Being an entrepreneur gave me the structure and mental challenge of owning a business, while allowing my creativity to flourish. When I closed my brick-and-mortar business, I missed the intellectual challenges that it brought. While I continued to create art, I decided to explore my options.The road to accounting was a winding one, but I was fortunate to gain some industry experience before committing to the degree. I was looking for a career where there is opportunity for continuous learning and accounting is definitely that career! I continue to balance art and accounting in my journey toward the CPA.
