About Wendy Osburn Cfd

I am currently a professor of practice at TAMU in the school of Horticulture. I teach and oversee all sections of Horticulture 203, Floral Certificate Coordinator, co-sponsor of the TAMU SAIFD, Student Chapter of AIFD. I enjoy helping with the Benz School of Floral Design Projects and aid in recruiting new Horticulture students for TAMU. I am a Certified Floral Designer through AIFD and a graduate of the Benz School of Floral Design. I freelance as a floral designer and I am a partner with my husband Kelly in our company, Osburn Designs LLC. I stay busy creating floral artistry for events and weddings on the weekends. I have a heart for mentoring other Agriculture teachers that teach floral design. My background in Visual Design and Agriculture Education gives me a unique perspective and approach to teaching floral design at the college level. I served 10 years as a minister to women and traveled many times to Estonia to serve as a speaker and Bible study teacher. I am currently working on my Master of Education with a focus in Curriculum and Instruction at Ouachita Baptist University while preparing to take my AIFD exam.
