Current• Responsible for the overall design, implementation, and administration of all benefits (medical, dental, life, disability and 401(k)/RSP plans) for the US & Canada. • Advise the Chief Executive Officer and other management executives on Human Resource laws, concepts, strategies, and general best practices as needed.• Promote and execute on long-term D&I strategy plan on creating a diverse and inclusive workplace. • Manage leave and disability programs, including FMLA, Short-Term and Long-Term Disability.• Manage compliance of benefits and 401(k) programs, including timely completion of regulatory reporting and filing requirements.• Work closely with outside Legal Counsel on all employment and immigration related matters. • Prepare and approve all immigration documents for H-1B, L Visa and permanent resident sponsorship.• Onboard new employees by performing background checks, processing paperwork and conduct new hire orientations. • Oversee payroll processing for US & Canada to ensure accurate and timely pay for all employees.• Draft policy and procedures to support business initiatives.
