Key recent projects include:⎷ DASNY – NYCHA Dyckman Houses – Renovation of a laundry room at a multi-family building for the Dormitory Authority of the State of NY and the NYC Housing Authority. ⎷ MTA – New York City Transit - Street stair replacement at the Winthrop Street subway station. The work involved site protection and wood barriers, lead abatement, demolition and carting, sidewalk replacement, handrail and street rail replacement, aluminum stair treads, tiles, painting, masonry, electrical, and drainage.⎷ Pace University Manhattan Campus – Conversion of dorm rooms into residential living quarters and a laundry room. We converted other dorm rooms for office/conference room use. ⎷ Compton Heights Stables – Conversion of an 1800’s stables/carriage house to five townhouse units.J.W.P. Corp. is qualified and certified to do business with the MTA, DASNY, NYC School Construction Authority, Gilbane, and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. We are approved vendors of Columbia and Pace universities. While our focus is on these and other institutional clients, many homeowners choose to work with us as well over a typical residential contractor.I manage the day-to-day operations of the business, which includes supervision of field operations, management of administration, finance, contracts, and talent. As co-founder of the company, I managed administration, finance, and sales, and supervised field operations. In addition to guiding the company through its start-up and growth stages, I transitioned the focus from primarily residential to commercial, institutional, and government contract work.

I had a long and successful career at Citibank. In fact, the last branch that I managed – Bedford Stuyvesant - was where I was interviewed and hired in 1987.
