Reconciliation of the cashbook versus the bank statements on a daily basis and the general ledger at month end. Confirmation of payments received through the bank to ensure products are released only after payment is made. Passing of journal vouchers and debit correction notes to reflect true account values. Analysis of various bank charges such as guarantee fees, LC commission fee, interest charges, unpaid cheque charges and other bank charges to ensure correct amounts are charged to our accounts and if otherwise follow up on corrective action. Initiate and keep a close follow up on bank guarantees including custom bonds once such a request is received from the credit control section. Ensure efficient communication between the bank and ourselves to ensure smooth running of our daily treasury bank transfers and payments. Undertake any other duties within the accounts and finance department framework assigned to me at any given time where applicable and relevant. Processing payment instructions and following up with the bank to ensure they are implemented. Pre-TPHC applications and LC applications. Bank reconciliations and Processing of online payments and Inter-Bank Transfers.
