    A career that spanned 30 years (15 years cumulative experience and 87-98 out of the work force) with the Amato Automotive Group began in 1982. Gaining experience in most "office"​ positions from title clerk/deal processor, warranty clerk, payables/receivables, and miscellaneous accounting duties for the controller, we were a small staff initially and multi-tasked quite a bit. "Retiring"​ in 1987, I moved overseas to Athens, Greece, to start a family. Returning to WI some years later, I continued life as a homemaker. Over the years spent at home, I assisted with a variety of projects for Amato. I rejoined the Amato team full time in May of 2006 in sales, moving quickly to Internet Marketing Manager/Internet Sales. In March of 2007, we installed a new BDC for what grew to five new car franchises, a used car super store, and the in-house finance company. As BDM, duties varied, from online inventory management, marketing, website, and social media appearance, to reputation management, customer service, establishing and managing day to day BDC operations. Implementing new processes and best practices along the way, we streamlined operations continuously, keeping in line with industry growth. While leading the BDC team, we continually met and achieved individual and team goals.NOTE: There is a recommendation from Anna Conway below. She is now a cruise planner, but when we worked together, she was a senior staff member/computer programmer for MJMI Web, Amato's website host out of NJ at the time.
