CurrentRegional Director Patient Access Northern Illinois PSA Region (May 2020 - current) Director Patient Access (January 2014 – May 2020)• Manage 63 FTE’s (comprised of 87 part-time and full-time associates) of centralized and decentralized Patient Access/Revenue Cycle areas for a 176 bed facility• Responsible for completing annual budget and achieving a yearend goal of 95% or higher within departmental budget and worked hours• Monitor all key performance indicators and metrics to ensure that the highest quality of service is received with the least amount of rework or errors by monitoring/data review• Implement/complete/create performance improvement, hiring, associate evaluations, process design, education, training, administrative responsibilities, staffing, payroll, on-boarding/buy-in of internal and external customers for rollouts/processes, ongoing communication/transparency, hospital/departmental policies and procedures• Perform and facilitate lean activities to eliminate redundancy and achieve cost reductions• Investigating, researching and facilitating resolution of customer inquiries or complaints • Daily contact with internal and external customers to maintain customer-focused issues and expectations Ultrasound Technologist (July 2006 – August 2011) **This was a concurrent position. • Performing ultrasound examinations on outpatients and inpatients in the areas of abdomen, gynecology, obstetrics, small parts and vascular in a registry and on-call capacity
