•Administrator for self-funded group insurance plan. Responsible for research and implementation of Health Care Reform mandates.•Administration of workers’ compensation claims including coordination of return to work and communication with insurance carriers and physicians. •Responsible for human resources and safety budgets. •Administrator of 401k Plan.•Key member of Senior Management team reporting directly to President / CEO. •Participate in decisions relative to corrective action, performance concerns, employee separation, and conflict resolution.•Development and application of corporate policy and practice and employee relations practice in accordance with Federal and local laws, and industry recognized best business practices. •Establish wage and salary structure, pay policies, performance appraisal programs, employee benefit program and services, and company safety and health programs. Monitor for effectiveness and cost containments.•Establish standard recruiting and placement practices and procedures.

*Direct Human Resource functions for 400 employees*Determine and recommend employee relations practices necessary to establish a positive employer-employee relationship and promote a high level of employee morale.*Identify legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting the Human Resources function. Monitors exposure of the company.*Protect interest of employees and the company in accordance with company Human resources policies and governmental laws and regulations. *Establishes wage and salary structure, pay policies, performance appraisal programs, employee benefit program and services, and company safety and health programs. *Establish standard recruiting and placement practices and procedures. *Establish in-house management and leadership training programs that address company needs.*Approve use of Human Resources consultants, insurance employee brokers and carriers, pension administrators, training specialists, labor counsel, and other outside HR resources.*Serve as a member of the Executive Team and participates in determining the strategy and business objectives for the company.
