I was responsible for the creation of a manual that would fix all computer related and POS issues that could arise. Opening restaurant on a daily basis, cash count, deposits, staffing (interviews, hiring, firing and disciplinary actions), staff of 30 at any given time, ensure that all jobs were completed in a timely manner, customer service was excellent, conflict resolution with staff and customers. Responsible for the set up and tear down of all rooms rented for events; doing the tally sheets for each rental, staff of approximately 60, 18 rooms to set up and clean up depending on room rentals, checking each set up for all items required by renter, conference setups, present at all functions, check each room for all items on function sheet, cleanliness of room, and setup configuration, check that all settings were correct, napkins folded properly. I would ensure that all staff were busy at all times and that special orders were going to the correct person, liaise with kitchen with regards to timing for catering in each room, ensure that bartending staff were qualified and present. For this position I worked as service staff for 3 weeks so that i would know what was expected and how to meet expections for the customer/client. I would also supervise the staff in the restaurant during the day (10 staff). I would assign service areas, ensure prompt service to each customer and correct mistakes by staff or kitchen.
