About Wendy Simpson
I have over 17 years experience working in not-for-profit organisations in aged care, disability and community services. I enjoy a challenge, particularly in strategic development and development of programs, and have initiated change to improve service provision.Since 2015 I have been undertaking research at ECU, completing a Masters degree in 2016 and a PhD in 2021, both focusing on disability. I have a passion for program evaluation and social research and translation of evidence to practice, particularly in regard to services to improve outcomes for children, families and communities.
