MPP is an early outreach "pre-med and medical/health professional school readiness" program, committed to preparing the next generation of medical doctors (MD's | DO's), health professionals (i.e., Physician Assistants, Nurses, Dentists, EMTs/Paramedics) and scientists for the physician and healthcare workforce.The Medical Physician Preparation (MPP) Academy is designed to increase the number of high achieving students who are academically and mentally prepared with the social-emotional skills to: 1) complete medical school and 2) become licensed to practice medicine in a medical specialty that provides a sense of purpose and meaning to their lives. Additionally, the MPP Academy was built to work in partnership with Medical Schools and other stakeholders in the medical community to build a pipeline of students, as early as the 4th grade, from diverse backgrounds to the physician workforce.The MPP Academy is open to high achieving elementary (4th & 5th grade students), secondary (6th-12th grade students), and undergraduate students from all backgrounds who might not have considered a career as a medical physician or have already committed to pursuing a career in medicine.

Indiana Cultural Opportunity Network (ICON)Purpose:The INACAC IAS ICON program is designed to educate Admissions and School Counseling professionals in areas of student equity, access, and success. Participants will gain a better knowledge of student needs and barriers to higher education within Indiana and beyond.Participation Requirement: Cohort Members would commit to attending all the monthly meetings whether on campus or virtual. They are also expected to attend the Transitions and INACAC Conference. Members will also be “observers” on Inclusion, Access, and Success (IAS) Conference Calls and will be provided with readings between each meeting to strengthen their knowledge of inclusion, access, and equity in the scope of higher education.Other Requirements:1+ years of admissions or school counseling experience at either the secondary or higher education level.INACAC or other Affiliate MembershipApproval from office leadershipAdditional Benefits:Cohort members will receive guidance and training to seek funding to attend National Conferences Guiding The Way to Inclusion and the National ACAC Conference

With the growing complexity of the world and the increasing demands of the 21st-century workforce, there is little question that all students should graduate from high school fully prepared for college AND careers. College and career readiness" is the umbrella to the P-20 educational pipeline. As the Director of Career and College Readiness, I am looking to build pathways for all students in the MSD of Wayne Township to leverage dual credit, industry certification, and advanced placement to create access points for all of our Westside families upon graduation.

Early college high school streamlined to provide scholars the means to obtain a high school diploma and Associate's degree from Vincennes. School is rich with diversity, high poverty, and students categorized typically are at-risk. BDU continues achieving at very high levels; two consecutive years of 100% high school graduation and over 80% of scholars obtaining their Associate degree.

Served a special educator in both a self contained setting, highly qualified in math and algebra and geometry inclusion. Worked closely in the implementation of IEP's, transition plan, behavior plans, and conducting case conferences.
