These accreditations also include the requirements of ILAC G19 and the Forensic Science Regulators Codes of Practice and Conduct (as applicable).Applying the same skills and with the same core responsibilities as the Corporate Head of Section role, but focussed clearly on the changing and evolving forensic landscape and how accreditation currently supports this sector, forensic units within UK Police Forces and private forensic service providers and where this can and needs to be developed.Team of 11, Budget - £2M

Leading the Corporate Section in line with the strategic direction of UKAS - Ensuring the section provides an accreditation service which meets the objectives and policies of UKAS as the National Accreditation Body, ISO/IEC 17011 and stakeholder expectations emanating from the respective industry/sector(s).The Corporate Section plan and manage the accreditations of UKAS’s largest and more complex customers across a number of accreditation standards (ISO/IEC 17020, ISO/IEC 17021, ISO/IEC 17024, ISO/IEC 17025, ISO/IEC 17043, ISO/IEC 17034, ISO/IEC 17034, ISO/IEC14065, ISO/IEC 17065), a number of business sectors (inspection bodies, testing laboratories, calibration laboratories, proficiency testing providers, reference material providers and certification bodies) and across a very large range of technical areas within those sectors. Team of 17 / Budget - £5.5MUtilising key skills of leadership, management, organisation, sound judgement, development, process change, vision and motivation whilst ensuring these are applied exhibiting excellent communication, business and strategic acumen and collaborative working with both internal / external stakeholders and customers.
