I have 2 passions in dietetics. The first is adverse food reactions - food allergy and intolerance, and coeliac disease. Over 10 years of mentoring and practice in the area have only increased the desire to keep up to date with current research and provide evidence based practice for patients, and am currently undertaking a PhD in this area.The other is investment in the next generation. Employed as a senior lecturer with a background in both education and dietetics, it is my desire to see students succeed, and do it well, reaching and surpassing educational milestones in order to enter the workforce well-equipped with knowledge, skills and confidence.Volunteering as a professional mentor, I have worked with over 50 grads, mostly in a formal mentoring relationship, to walk the journey as they attain their full professional membership.
