I was in charge of the day to day operations of the Day Care.

72 children)Responsibilities: I am in charge of the day to day operations of the Day Care. I oversee the programming, staff, parents and children.I book any trips and visitors for the children. I plan and implement fundraisers, Board and staff meetings. Also I am in charge of ordering supplies and placing Scholastic book orders on a monthly basis.Office work such as filing & clerical, offering tours of the centre to parents, organizing staff schedules, enrolling/withdrawing full fee and subsidized children from the program and cash handling. I write letters to parents when necessary and create or revise policies. I attend Supervisor and Network meetings every 6 weeks. I also work with the Resource Consultant when needed. I work with the Toronto Operating Criteria and Licensing Specialist. Oct 2007 - March 2008 Nanny Responsibilities included: Caring for a young girl Monday to Friday in the parents absence. Prepared & taught learning activities such as language, math and reading. Enjoyed a fun activity for the day with her before I brought her to school for the afternoon.

Responsibilities included: Caring for and interacting with children ages 2-12 years old. Prepared weekly classroom plans and monthly classroom calendars. Taught children age 4-12 the "Rennie Reading Program". (It was the schools own program on how to teach children to read.) Assisted the school Director with office & clerical duties such as filing, payroll, tours of the centre to parents, enrolling new students and cash handling. I was the acting Director in the Directors absence.

Responsibilities included: Caring for and interacting with children ages 4- 6 years old. I prepared weekly classroom plans, monthly classroom calendars, and class trips. I prepared & taught Jolly Phonics, math and skill workbook for all the kindergarten students in preparation for grade 1. I was in charge of ordering supplies and placing Scholastic book orders. I assisted the Daycare Director with office work such as filing, payroll, providing tours of the centre to parents, organizing, enrolling and cash handling. I was the acting Director when needed.
