Hi, thank you for visiting my profile.With lived experience of disability, I am passionate about supporting people with disabilities to live their best life. It has been a great privilege to utilise my commercial acumen, leadership and strategic management experience to contribute to the significant growth in my current role as Chief Executive with EllieB's since late 2011.In my previous roles I worked across Australia in several senior executive roles for both commercial and profit-for-purpose organisations. I have wide-ranging experience in change management and business turnaround contributing to strategic growth and service improvement. Additionally, I have a strong foundation in establishing person-centric services and robust clinical governance/WHS frameworks in multifaceted human service settings. I am particularly interested in child and adolescent welfare in the context of complex developmental disability.As a leader, I am committed to building a resilient community regardless of the significant obstacles and complexity we face. I have a strong work ethic and acknowledge the value of professional leadership.     As the Chief Executive of EBL Disability Services Inc. I have 24/7 oversight of NDIS programs and services for children and adults with developmental disabilities. Since commencing at EBL we have experienced revenue growth from 80 to 800 clients. Revenue has increased from $1 - $21m (2021/22 financial year). During this time, I have overseen and managed the transition of our service models from the DCSI and DCP to the current NDIS arrangements. The has required a complete overhaul system and capacity wise in both head office and front line staff. I have lived experience of disability and a genuine passion and commitment to safeguarding of vulnerable communities. In 2015, I was invited to share the positive social impact of our work at the child and adolescent psychiatry conference in Malaysia alongside Specialist Disability Child Psychiatrist, Dr Mohammed Usman. Our paper was titled ‘A Systemic Model for Improving Mental Health of Children with Developmental Disabilities in Care Settings – the South Australian perspective’. Above all positive business indicators, EBL Disability Services (t/a EllieB's) has established a reputation for its quality and work in the area of complex Autism and developmental disability. Additionally, EllieB's is recognised by many for its high-performing culture and adaptability to adjust to the ever-changing NDIS environment.

    As State Manager SA/NT, I was responsible for early intervention, complex assessment and claims management of over 10,000 motor vehicle accident assessments, workplace injury and superannuation claims. I was also invited to contribute to the Therapeutic Assessment Unit for Neurodevelopmental Disorders – Children & Young People (SA). I was tasked with oversight of a $25m annual budget and leadership of a diverse team of medical and legal professionals including; Psychiatrists, Physicians, Surgeons, Allied Health Professionals and Lawyers across SA and NT. I was a liaison between health professionals and some of the largest employers in Australia including Defense, Education, Insurance, Legal and Non-profit organisations. I worked closely with the Motor Vehicle Accident Commission, Return to Work SA and the Northern Territory Government.

    During my time overseeing a number of large community services across Australia, I was promoted from a state based role to national with a focus on better practice coaching and mentoring across various Salvation Army programs. I had the great privilege of working with a committed and dedicated senior management team providing leadership that impacted over 1600 employees and 25,000 clients experiencing adversity. I was further promoted to National Manager overseeing quality and performance across 150 sites Australia wide. The organisation averaged an annual turnover in excess of $250m. During this time I was given the role of key account manager for large corporate partners across Australia and was often seconded to innovation projects as a project lead for the organisation.During my employment I held a range of senior management roles within the Job Services Australia (now known as Workforce Australia) and Disability Services Sector including:> Executive Manager (SA)> Regional Manager (Far West NSW)> National Performance Manager> National Business Development Manager EconomicalIn these roles, I was responsible for administering government-funded contracts and workforce-related programs. This included program development across Aboriginal Communities and the Disability sector. Additionally, I have established tailored programs for Youth at Risk, Mental Health sector, Pre-release prisoners, CALD clients and Aged.
