Developed treatment plans; engage clients in rebuilding of their social skills; re-learning basic living skills; how to interact in the community; and manage their psychiatric symptoms; provided case management services; manage at-risk behavior; and perform crisis intervention.

Responsible for child protection investigations, interventions, and case management for children and families in crisis. Duties included interviewing children and families, preparing court reports and testimony, coordination of activities and services with various community professionals, crisis intervention, participation in monthly multidisciplinary team meetings, creation of service plans, and provided community presentations. In 2009, I was promoted to Lead Social Worker III, which entailed carrying a workload of complex and difficult child abuse and neglect cases, while also providing direction and guidance to newly hired and probationary staff. This involved providing input to supervisors regarding observed individual progress and performance; planning and organizing work of new staff and students, and assigning, reviewing, and approving reports. I have also participated in several speaking engagements at Boise State University and in the community regarding child abuse and neglect.

Assisted adults with disabilities in finding employment, assistance with resume writing, interview skills, limited counseling, advocating for clients with local businesses and employers, check on clients progress at various job sites, and talk with management regarding clients performance.

Provide a safe therapeutic environment for adolescent male sex offenders, monitor physical safety of unit, model problem-solving coping strategies, participate in group therapies and community meetings, and provide educational instruction as a teachers aide.

Internship for my Bachelors in Social Work. Volunteered 400 hours assisting primary counselors with conducting educational and process groups for chemically dependent individuals.

Job related duties included: Two years investigationing child abuse and sex crimes; two years undercover narcotics investigations; and nine years as a patrol officer. Competed Advanced Officer Training and Certification. Have over 2,500 hours of specialized training at various conferences and seminars.
