Contributed to the development of innovative drug targets by researching the drug-resistant profiles of various mycobacterium tuberculosis strains.• Developed custom Python code and pipeline in Anaconda for genetic structural variants which analyzed if given variants may impact drug resistance, enabling wet-lab researchers to develop potential drug targets for drug resistant strains of M.tuberculosis.• Used Pittsburg Supercomputer Center via Shell to analyze data for Isogeneic Strains project which analyzed unknown or unexpected variants in phenotypically nearly-identical bacterial sequences.• Statistician for the lab, using the R programming language for statistical computation and data visualization.• Presented a detailed summary of 3 peer-reviewed journal articles monthly, as well as project updates including working analysis of new or unique data.

Instructed students at all levels of instruction within multiple science disciplines• Duties include developing and delivering curriculum for both chemistry and biology courses set by the state of Virginia and the International Baccalaureate Diploma program (IBDP).• Reported 85% pass rate on Virginia Standards of learning test for Chemistry students• Plan and facilitate 60 hours of laboratory work for approximately 60 students over twoyears for the IBDP Higher Level Biology.• Oversee laboratory safety for biology and chemistry lab coursework.
