The role provided direction on nursing and clinical matters to various stakeholder groups, implementing a framework to realise opportunities for innovative nursing practice, providing strategic direction, workforce governance, and overseeing nursing and midwifery credentialling and practice requirements. The role ensures regulatory compliance and implementation of aged care reform to limit the businesses risk exposure and liabilities. Executive portfolio responsibilities include customer experience, clinical specialist teams and their associated outcomes, clinical coding and record management, and the Bolton Clarke Research Institute.Key Achievements:+ Led the organisation through the transition to the new Aged Care Quality Standards in 2019 achieving outstanding compliance, as well as full compliance with first time NDIS Quality Standards accreditation for Residential Aged Care and ARVAS accreditation for Retirement Living. + Led the clinical outbreak crisis management response for COVID-19 Omicron across 25 residential aged care facilities, and the clinical response across Home Care services to ensure ongoing safety of clients and staff resulting in minimal resident fatalities and being recognised by Public Health Units across QLD and NSW and Department of Health and Aging for sophisticated and coordinated management compared to other aged care providers.+ Developed and implemented the Clinical Care Governance system and framework using best practice to ensure safety and efficacy of client care – Bolton Clarke recognised as industry leader in this area by providers, consumer advocates and independent audit.+ Led the development and implementation of consumer experience surveys across all business streams.

Operational management requirements of the role included Assistant Director of Nursing leave relief and Nursing Executive after hours on-call roster.Key achievements:+ Developed and established a sustainable Clinical Placement Program for The Wesley Hospital which generated profit and ensured a talent pipeline for the company during a time of workforce recruitment challenges.+ Developed and led a successful international aid development program for 8 years, building and implementing training programs and fundraising over $100K to assist with sustainable healthcare. + Developed, established, and implemented professional nursing leadership programs resulting in over 80% of participants gaining a leadership role within the company. + Designed and led the recruitment and onboarding strategy to hire over 400 graduates for the UnitingCare Health group achieving cost efficiency, high performance, and successful graduates.
