CurrentI run a well-established, flexible and responsive HR consultancy practice. I work with large and small organisations, providing HR expertise on the whole range of people management issues that may arise. I have worked with many of my clients for several years. Much of my work is in the not for profit sector. My aim is to make HR simple and stress-free for you and to help create flourishing and fair work environments where people succeed. I don’t take a ‘one size fits all’ approach, but start by listening to your needs. Then I’ll suggest an HR service to meet those needs. My work ranges from ‘helpline’ advice and getting the ‘nuts and bolts’ policies right, to longer-term strategic projects. I advise on developing performance and capability as well as managing change, managing employment risk and dealing with disputes in a fair and impartial manner. I don’t just advise on HR processes, I also know that work with people requires empathy and sensitivity; I will advise you on these matters too.
