Wendy Bauer leads 3M’s Transportation and Electronics Business Group, which includes the company’s advanced materials, automotive & aerospace, commercial branding, display materials & systems, electronics materials solutions, and transportation divisions. Prior to joining 3M, Wendy served as Vice President & General Manager, Automotive & Manufacturing at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where she led the development and execution of AWS’s business, technology, partnering and go-to-market strategy for the global automotive and manufacturing organization. Before moving to the Technology sector in 2016, Wendy spent more than 20 years in a variety of positions across the global automotive industry, including both automotive OEM and Tier-1 supplier companies (Aptiv/Delphi, Eaton Corporation, DENSO and General Motors). Throughout her career, Wendy’s passion has come from building and inspiring globally diverse organizations to learn and grow while innovating with customers and partners to solve complex challenges impacting the world. She has been recognized as a Top-25 Women in Automotive by Automobilewoche in Europe (2024), a Software-Defined Vehicle Innovator Leader by MotorTrend (2023), and a Top-100 Women in North America Auto Industry (2020).
