As a Sr. Project Manager on secondment in Reading, England UK I was responsible for managing Jive Software's largest customer. On this complex account I managed regular software releases, performance enhancements and the development of customizations to the software. In addition I managed the budget, the customer relationship and provided support to the sales team, Jive executives and customer executives during the contract renewal cycle.In addition to managing our largest customer I was assigned to numerous Professional Services engagements around Europe supporting customers in Belgium, Finland, Germany, Ireland and England.As a resource manager I solved resourcing issues on a regular basis in collaboration with the Engineering Manager and my fellow project managers. I liaised with our delivery partners to supply services for certain engagements including contract negotiations with a partner in Kiev, Ukraine working closely with the Jive Software legal department to ensure compliance with all relevant US and Ukrainian law.I interviewed all project managers coming into the organization (contract and FTE) and managed the contracts, budget and the relationship with our recruitment agencies. All project managers report to me on the status of their portfolio of work.While in this position I had the opportunity to design and facilitate an offsite conference for the Professional Service department in France.
