Writes research papers, reports, reviews, and summaries regarding ways to use technology, specifically Virtual Reality, to disrupt bias in caregivers working with tribal nations of Oregon and the Maori people in New Zealand. Highlights included, but not limited to:- Higher Education Coordination Commission of Oregon for COVID training dawning and doffing of PPE.- Developed and delivered training used nationwide including presenting to WHO as a potential 360-degree infection prevention solution for developing nations.- Served as Lead PI, Co-PI, and contractor on state, national, and international grants, including: 1) US Ignite, Smart Cities, Mozilla Grants; 2) National Science Foundation via US Ignite; 3) Convertible Note Round; 4) Convertible Note Round 2; 5) NIHUB/Pitch Competition; 5) Facebook, Infection Prevention; 6) Royal Academy in New Zealand.- Key Team Leader in the development and deployment of a robust curriculum library for technical and soft skills nurse training and an aggregated statistical feedback tools.- Key Team Leader in the development of partnerships with Cedars-Sinai, U.S. Department of State, University of Portland School of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau, Columbia University School of Nursing, and more. - Collaborate with faculty, staff, and administrators of the client community to develop and implement innovative programming that educates students on contracted curriculum.- Identify opportunities and partner with client leadership on strategic initiatives.- Secured investment funding from Angel investors from the healthcare space.

Supported the growth and success of existing programs and expanded the reach of the department through the creation and oversight of new programming. Developed and presented numerous proposals for program offerings to a broad variety of audiences. Presented at K-12 educator conferences to large and small audiences. Cultivated and strengthened lasting client relationships using strong issue resolution and dynamic communication skills. Assisted in recruiting, hiring and training of team members. Tracked trends and suggested enhancements to both challenge and refine university's course offerings. Highlights include:- Built strong connections and partnerships with K-12 education entities (Oregon Department of Education, Klamath ESD, Lane ESD and High Desert ESD), business and industry partners for the purpose of reaching potential collaborators or facilitators of new programs.- Designed a new, cutting-edge curriculum delivery method, based on Professor Kent McIntosh and Jeffrey Sprague’s Equity and Behavior in Schools content, and ensure delivery into the hands of educators. - Designed an online training platform (re: Moodle) adopted by CA and ID school districts, a 12 week training with a focus on PBIS and Equity. - Evaluated and recruited instructors and presenters for the development of new curricula.- Negotiated Memorandums of Understanding contracts for collaboration with various partners- Increased revenue and programming for a long-running Professional Development for Educators program.- Maintained complex budgets in a shifting self-support module for a number of programs.

Envisioned and facilitated a successful sustainability conference with numerous internal and external partners. Managed the event logistics, including the production of the program and marketing vehicles. Highlights include:- Successfully convinced the steering committee to co-locate the conference in Eugene and Portland via teleconference, expanding its audience by 30%. - Expanded AE’s presence in the education community by representing AE on three local and regional STEM committees and one Lane County Early Childhood committee.- Developed relationships into multiple program partnerships, including serving as lead partner in organizing the STEM Festival at the Lane County Fair from 2014 to 2016.- Updated outreach materials for the Professional Development for Educators program, including copy for three web pages and creating fliers to market and promote workshops.- Conducted extensive market research on state and federal policies in STEM, teacher licensure, early learning, sustainability, and professional development trends to identify new program opportunities.
