Extensive background coordinating conferences and conventions. Seasoned communicator, having conducted hundreds of presentations at the university, state and national levels. During my time at JFK, I was part of a national group (ACRM-BIISIG) which developed evidence-based standards of care for TBI rehabilitation and was co-author on peer-reviewed articles. I was the lead developer of the Measure of Cognitive-Linguistic Abilities, a widely used assessment for mild-moderate TBI. I was lead author of a rehabilitation book called Adapted Adventure Activities: A Rehabilitation Model for Adventure Programming and Group Initiatives. I served as President of the NJ Speech Language Hearing Association and was a recipient of their Honors of the Association and Volunteer of the Year Awards. I also served as the Convention Chair, Editorial Board Chair, and Sponsorship Chair for NJSHA, Secretary of the Brain Injury Interdisciplinary Special Interest Group and involved in many other committees for NJSHA, ACRM, ASHA and others.

Developed and taught Kean's first course in Cognitive-Linguistic Disorders following Brain Trauma.
