I oversee all marketing channels and content strategies designed to grow brand awareness and increase customer acquisition for the world's first electric mobility SaaS platform. As one of Joyride's earliest team members, I crafted and carried out a complete brand launch and performance marketing strategy, leading Joyride to be a globally recognized leader in sustainable mobility in 200-plus markets. My responsibilities have included building Joyride's online presence (cultivating identity, overseeing 2x website redesigns, producing all copywriting/resources, conversion funnel optimization); managing marketing collateral; ongoing SEO/SEM strategy and measurement; go-to-market product planning; generating brand partnerships; PR/media outreach; and growing the marketing team from scratch. Reporting directly to Joyride's CEO and COO, I continuously interpret customer insights and market trends to shape our company’s long-term vision.

My services spanned copywriting, writing, substantive editing, startup brand planning, producing promotional marketing materials, social media management, establishing/implementing B2B marketing strategies and media relations.

I worked closely with the Kidscreen brand's editorial team and creative department to develop and produce engaging B2B content aimed at youth media and entertainment professionals. I managed the production and delivery of a daily email newsletter sent to 15,000+ subscribers (45% average open rate), and I oversaw tech-focused content for Kidscreen's print/digital magazines and informative guides. This senior-level role required a strong command of business reporting and the ability to reach a niche target audience across multiple channels.

I formed and fostered a community of engaged online reviewers for a user-generated content platform incubated under the Torstar umbrella. At Ourfaves.com, I produced grassroots marketing campaigns, consumer-facing promotional copy and developed the strategy for online/social media contests that increased site traffic and boosted brand awareness. I led the platform's B2B marketing efforts that focused on local business partnerships, and I collaborated on the brand's expansion across Canada.
