    As the Director of Sales and Marketing, I was responsible for efforts of the sales team for two hotels in a manner consistent with established Intercontinental Hotels Group Brand standards and policies. I maintained strong customer relationships with current, new and potential accounts for both properties. I handled account details so that all pertinent aspects of solicitation and closing were complete and documented. I prepared and delivered weekly and monthly reports to the Revenue Management team and participated in weekly meetings with teams via Skype. I handled all incoming calls and requests for group blocks and events. I coordinated the use of the various conference space at both properties. I met weekly goals by travelling throughout the Treasure Valley to conduct outside calls, promote the hotel and review the competition. I organized bi-annual themed blitzes focused on prospecting new accounts locally, including designing and creating sales materials and giveaways. I represented the hotels at trade shows and various local networking events. I prepared, analyzed and reviewed forecasts, STR reports and a variety of internal/external reports. I implemented and managed the annual budget and marketing plans. I developed and continually enhanced relationships with internal and external customers, industry/community, peers, and professional associations. I maintained and grew the social media presence of both hotels. I continually surveyed, reviewed and analyzed competition, market trends, and customer needs in an effort to develop/modify new plans, actions and programs.During the 3 years in this position, I increased Revenue 3-5% YOY while simultaneously increasing ADR 8-12% YOY.
