Led direct reports in Moscow, Paris, London, Barcelona (and multiple US sites) with close interaction with Japan, Brazil, India and China colleagues. Drove double digit growth on multiple product lines. Conceived and delivered the new flagship brand and information platform, Thomson Reuters Cortellis, meeting all customer migration and net new customer targets. Established a new clinical practice and launched a new clinical trials product, exceeding revenue target in first six months. Supported successful integration of GeneGo acquisition, increasing both growth and margin. Drove business case for precision medicine adjacent market growth opportunity, and successfully evangelized significant additional corporate funding. Rationalized portfolio and eliminated millions in operating costs while sustaining growth.

After Liquent was acquired by Thomson Reuters in 2004, I was recruited to the Thomson Reuters Life Sciences executive team. Responsible for product strategy, product design, project delivery, marketing strategy and marketing communications for the entire Thomson Reuters Life Sciences product portfolio including bioinformatics (GeneGo Metacore), preclinical (Prous Integrity), regulatory (IDRAC), and generics (Newport).

Began with company as a venture backed startup, subsequently supporting successful IPO, two acquisitions of the company, and one acquisition of a competitor. Executed vertical expansion strategy and penetrated three new market adjacencies within one year of joining. Conceived and led the technology delivery and commercial strategy for the Insight regulatory information management system, as a horizontal expansion strategy. Both activities drove substantial increase in valuation of the business.
