Temporary editing of bi-monthly publication dedicated to independent coverage of Ohio's eight urban public school districts while full-time editor is engaged in fellowship. Work involves substantive editing of all freelance submissions, reshaping editorial packages to respond to changing news, preparing copy for layout (including headlines, decks, captions, table of contents, cover blips, etc.) and proofing magazine through final design and printing.

Observing, reporting and writing on the small schools transformation at Cleveland Heights High School for KnowledgeWorks Foundation. For two consecutive years, the results of our reporting were published in narrative books available through the KnowledgeWorks web site: www.kwfdn.org.This final year involves a longer narrative, to be published in August 2008, that looks at how the transformation to small schools is working over four years and whether or not the districts can sustain the reform.

Wrote annual report in 2004 and 2005.Wrote special publication for Y-Haven, a social service program that provides transitional housing and treatment for chronically homeless and addicted me. The publication featured the history of the program and the moving stories of three men who successfully completed the program. The publication was called, "Transforming lives one person at a time."
