I am passionate about improving healthcare – leveraging my experience in Silicon Valley to navigate ways to bring scalable innovation into healthcare. I am grateful for the range of opportunities that I've had in my career - leading initiatives across Healthcare Providers, Health IT, Payers, and Life Sciences companies. These experiences have allowed me to see a path forward through the challenges across the highly interconnected, but poorly aligned, healthcare continuum.The cornerstone across all of the healthcare segments is clinical research. I am honored to be part of the IQVIA team where I can combine my broad experience to help advance capabilities in drug development and clinical trial management. Key accomplishments include:* Identified and led the acquisition of a company to extend capabilities in care coordination, driving better transitions between acute and post-acute care. The acquisition accelerated revenue growth and created a new business unit that focused on growth in the care transitions market. The combined business was ultimately sold for $1.35B.* Re-defined and built a new organization to lead innovation at a major health system – launching new initiatives in virtual nursing care, telehealth, and chronic care management. * Restructured and led the third-party software licensing organization, managing a team that closed over 40 technology license agreements within one year.* Created a new venture investment strategy focusing on software application and service companies, closing four equity investments, ranging from $3 million to $20 million.
