Wendy is an expert in program design and leadership development. Over the course of her career, she has worked as clinician, educator and leader, focused on how to best guide,support and elevate programs committed to the empowerment of vulnerable families. She has based her work on the belief that families and healthy relationships are the cornerstone to society. In her leadership role at Horizons for Homeless Children, as Director of Education, managed all staff education, helping maintain a clinical focus on informed practices that support families and children experiencing homelessness and sustained trauma/toxic stress with a focus on the impact of trauma on the family system and child development. She has been recognized for excellence in innovation for her work initiating a joint venture with Lesley University, working to establish Horizons as a Brazelton Touchpoints Site and instituting a two-year research program supporting Science, Technology and Engineering through the RISE curriculum framework at Tufts university.She is a sought after speaker presenting both internationally and in Massachusetts.
