CreationDepot is a web and graphic design company located in Fredericksburg, VA. I have owned this company for 12 years, and it began as the namesake for my freelance work. To date I have worked for a wide variety of clients including:- Congressional Motors (VW/Mazda dealership that was up in Rockville, MD)- Better Business Bureau (Eastern chapter doing their printed newsletter and then their website; managed contractors for that project as it included many moving parts and required developers)- Re/Max (many small website updates)- And many others such as Alvarado and Bennett, The Media Institute, and their offshoot company, Free Speech Week.

Main task: Design and production of the international magazine "The Police Chief"; was responsible for the design, ad coordination, production, and final proofing of the entire magazine - page count ranging from 75 to 210 pages depending on the issue.Production work for print and web projects; breaking down website designs from InDesign and Photoshop into actual websites with CSS and includes using PHP; completed print works once a design has been created by laying out text, finalizing photos, and doing the final print proofing.

Began as a Sales Assistant and was promoted to Advertising Coordinator for the Friday Home Guide (a weekly publication) once I proved my organizational and problem solving skills.Designed and modified ads for both the regular daily paper, as well as the Friday Home Guide, and Automotive section in the main paper.

Designed websites, brochures, newsletters, managed customer relations as well as collected payment and project signoffs and up-selling. Installed and integrated shopping carts, classified programs, and content management systems. Security Certificates and Search Engine Optimization.

Worked in production for Ocala Magazine, Lake Today Magazine, and provided some consultation work for their website. My job was to edit images, proofing, and pulling the "book" together when it was time to go to print.

My first regular full-time position, I worked at Rising Edge through college at George Mason University at first creating and maintaining their website, then went on to creating their intranet, a GUI system that would interact with firmware on a RAID system, and a call/ticket system created using Access. I then parted with them when I moved to Seattle, Washington, rejoining their team when I moved back to Herndon in 2002. Second stay of work lasted from June 2002 through August of 2003 (approx).

I created and modified a lot of existing graphics using Photoshop. It was a short internship that involved leaving school early a few days a week to build my work experience.
