After implementing the risk and Basel II data marts for the bank, I moved on to be the solution architect for the new enteprise data warehouse program. Here I am partnered with IBM to lead the overall architecture for the program. I set overall architecture guidelines, approve all designs and models, give presentations of our overall architecture to various teams for awareness and training, etc. I am involved in all aspects of the program such as physical architecture to include primary and recovery sites; lower environments for testing; data movement tools and operations; data quality standards and tools; metadata standards and tools; data governance, etc.

Managed several enterprise credit risk data environments and applications in support of key risk programs such as Basel II compliance. I build and led the delivery of the enterprise credit risk applications that covered all credit risk across consumer, commercial and enterprise (traded products, derivatives, etc.) as the first central data stores integrated across the company.

Started with the company designing a data quality program for the new data warehouse that was being built. After that, worked on the design and build of the marketing systems downstream of the new datawarehouse. Also, designed BI applications such as Microstrategy reporting and CRM application (Teradata CRM formally known as CERES). Lastly, while there did an install of Peoplesoft HR in DB2.

Hired out of college into an IT management training program under Barnett Bank. Due to NationsBank Acquisition about 6 months into my 1 year program, I was asked to assist in transition activities where I started my stint in risk management. I worked to help re-align Barnett commercial customers to the appropriate segment at NB and do the technical conversions related.. Managed a database of commercial clients to build conversion files to merge Barnett customers into the Nationsbank commercial portfolio while de-dupping to ensure total credit risk could be derived and managed.Designed differing reporting applications in both Business Objects and Foxpro retiring old MF based reportingLed a small training team that would travel around to train users in using Business Objects reporting
