Managed the financial Services office of the Division of Biology and Medicine including faculty and staff payroll, gifts and endowment accounting, annual budgeting, and quarterly financial projections. • Streamlined budget process by transitioning the process from Microsoft Excel to an automated user interface in FileMaker. • Transformed the entire budget process by implementing zero-based budgeting and a formalized budget process of meetings by major cost center.• Initiated suspension of paper general ledgers creating a more efficient work environment.
