Praktikon is an independent organization for research and development in youth care and education. We support institutions, schools and policy makers in evaluating and improving the quality of care and education. We use BergOp, SWIS Suite and the Security Monitor for this.My expertise lies in the field of (longitudinal) quantitative and qualitative research into the behaviour, development and safety of pupils in (special) education. I think it is important that the results can be used by different target groups and at different levels. Writing SPSS syntaxes and administrating questionnaires in BergOp, an internet application for processing the outcome data of interventions in youth care and education. Furthermore I do telephonic interviews, in order to obtain the Therapy Adherence Measure for Multi Systemic Therapy of the Ambulatorium at Zetten, and Vincent van Gogh-institute, team Limburg-Zuid.

In the evenings and mornings I was helping, mostly elderly, people, to start or end their day. Part of the work content was giving medicine, providing physical care, serving meals and putting on/off elastic stockings. The social contact with the patients also was an important aspect of the job.
