Wendy Purnell served as PERC’s director of outreach from 2014 to 2016. Purnell launched the Impact Fellowship, the E.L. Wiegand Storyteller in Residence program, the Eco-Fads podcast with the Washington Policy Center’s Todd Myers, and the interactive map of PERC’s ideas in action. She managed PERC’s website, social media presence, external relations, and outreach efforts. She helped recruit for PERC’s academic fellowships and revamp PERC Reports. She produced PERC’s 2020 Road Map and Wildfire Solutions Summit, articulated PERC’s vision, illustrated how PERC works, and raised more than one million dollars.
